1. General / Membership Portal

An online research panel is a community of individuals with similar interests and experiences who have voluntarily chosen to participate in online research studies about various topics related to their common interests.

K-Insiders Consumer Panel is a community of people who are interested in sharing their thoughts & opinions with others.

To be eligible to participate in the Kitchen Insiders Consumer Panel community you will need to join Kellogg's Family Rewards. As a member of Kellogg's Family Rewards, you'll have an opportunity to collect points, earn rewards, you may receive special offers, promotions and exclusive coupons and you'll have access to great recipes as well. Kitchen Insiders Consumer Panel is currently for US residents only.

Members are invited to participate in a variety of fun events and activities including interactive surveys, real time discussions, quick polls and more. You'll have the opportunity to provide feedback on current offerings from Kellogg's and to tell us what new products you'd like to see us offer.

You will have the chance to voice your opinion and make it count on products that you and your family consume.

We will share survey results. You will learn what others think and how results can influence decision-makers.

You will be rewarded for your participation through points earned for your participation. The points can be redeemed for a gift card of your choice from our collective offering at anytime.

Upon registration, we'll collect your contact details including name, state, zip code, and email. On our first survey to you before becoming an official member, we'll ask for some additional demographic information on items such as gender, income, education, household composition and a few others. Profiling this information will help us ensure we have a wide range of all types of panelists that represent Americans.

It's easy - you'll see the login box on kinsiders.questionpro.com. Sign in using the email and password that you selected when you first registered.

If you forgot your password, simply click on the ‘forgot password' link located underneath the sign in area on Kitchen Insiders home page. You will then be prompted to provide your email address, and once submitted you will receive an email with a link to set a new password. If you don't receive an email within 10 minutes, please email our support team at [email protected].

To change your password, sign into your account on the home page of kinsiders.questionpro.com. Once there, click on the ‘My Account' drop down on the right corner of the navigation bar. Here you will then be able to enter in a new password. Enter in your password, then scroll down and click on ‘Update'.

To update your profile, simply sign into your account on the kinsiders.questionpro.com home page. Once signed into the members area, you will then be able to click on the ‘My Account' dropdown located at the right corner of the navigation menu. Once there, click on 'My Profile' you can update any of the fields provided. Once you have updated your information, scroll down and click on ‘Update'.

Go to the ‘My Account' page and select ‘Change' under the profile picture icon. Make sure to choose something clear so your fellow Kitchen Insiders Consumer Panel peers can get to know you! Your profile photo file size cannot exceed 300 KB.

You may remain on the panel as long as you choose to participate in studies. Members may remove themselves from the panel at any time.

Alternatively, you can submit a request via the Contact Us form or send an email to [email protected] with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

We collect some personal data about each member for a number of reasons:

  1. It enables us to contact you about research (i.e. surveys, discussion forums and/ or poll questions) you can take part in and to also let you know if you've won a prize for your participation.
  2. It enables us to contact you with surveys that are specifically relevant to you and your lifestyle.
  3. It helps us to analyze the survey data by different categories such as gender, age or the region consumers live in.

Don't worry – it will not be possible for any individual respondent to be identified from the results. Your information will only be used for research purposes.

Your Kitchen Insiders Consumer Panel profile information is not sold or distributed to any company. All information is strictly confidential and privacy is guaranteed. Your name will never be sold, exchanged, or distributed to any other party without your express acknowledgement. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

Your email address will not be forwarded to third parties unless you give explicit permission, so you will not receive spam as a result of your participation in Kitchen Insiders Community Panel.

Any personal information we collect remains completely confidential and is strictly used for research purposes only. Some of the information we collect allows us to analyze results by subgroups. To ensure your total privacy, your answers are grouped together with other members who completed the same survey and the results are only viewed in aggregate, so we never trace responses back to any single panelist.

2. Surveys

For each study, you will receive an invitation by email to participate. The community research will be conducted on the Web. All you need to do is click on the link, or copy and paste the Website address into your browser window. Then, simply follow the instructions on the screen to complete the survey. The survey link will also appear on the community website under the "My Surveys" page. You can take our surveys and log into the community on your computer, tablet and mobile device.

Not necessarily. We will do our best to identify studies that look like a match based on your profile, but we may include criteria which is not part of our membership information. In these cases, the only way to know if you qualify will be to ask you up front in the survey. In cases when your household does not fit the criteria, we will try and notify you quickly and release you from completing any more of that survey.

On average, you will be sent a survey invitation about once or twice per month. There will also be new QuickPolls posted to the site every month, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.

You are welcome to take part in as many surveys and discussion forums as you like.

Although each survey will be different we understand that you are busy. Survey length is closely controlled to minimize the use of your time.

On average, our surveys are approximately 5 to 10 minutes; however, some can be longer than 20 minutes. All surveys and activities are completely voluntary and we let you know the approximate length of the survey in the invitation so you can plan accordingly. As well, surveys can be stopped and restarted later from where you left off if you are in a hurry.

We encourage participation in as many surveys and discussions as you are invited to take. In order to be considered an active member of the Kitchen Insiders Consumer Panel we ask that you participate in at least two panel studies per year.

You will typically have anywhere from 48 hours to one week to complete each survey.

Certain study results will be available to all panelists via our newsletter.

3. Activities

When you first log in to the community, you will see your new activities with links to each activity page. You can take our surveys and log into the community on your computer, tablet and mobile device.

You can find polls on the public home page and the home page once you log in. You do need to be logged in to vote. Once you have logged in, simply choose a response and click the "Vote" button. Once you have completed the poll, you will be able to see the current results.

4. Rewards and Incentives / Points

Every time you participate in a survey, your account will be credited with points. The points will vary from survey to survey depending on the time it would take for you to complete it. Longer the survey higher the points earned. You will also be eligible to earn points for participating in polls and dicussions.

You will have to click on the "My Rewards" page. Here you will see the types of rewards we have in inventory and how many points will be needed to redeem each of them. If you have sufficient points you can click on the redeem now button. You should recived an email with further instructions and details within 24 hours. If you do not get an email in 24 hours please send an email to [email protected] or use the contact us form to submit a query.
